Poe Gardening Club Fall 2025

Hello Parents, I have created a new website that is linked within the Poe Garden Club website where I have posted gardening related blogs for our Poe gardeners and families to continue gardening at home! You can find it at www.theearlybloomers.com Check it frequently for new gardening content related to Houston gardening!

In the meantime, I will be working on revamping our Poe garden club program and I will let you know here when it will resume again. One thing I have decided going forward is that there will be no more sign up fees for our gardening club. It will be free to join, but I will only allow in up to 12 students per semester.

Thank you again for all your support and enthusiasm for the Poe Gardening Club. Our last meeting will be this coming Monday.

I just wanted to clarify about my last post that this difficult decision to pause gardening club next semester was my decision alone. Principal Epps didn’t ask me to cancel it. I am hoping to continue gardening club in the future, but as of right now I don’t have the time to do it or the extra help. I will keep this website going though and keep everyone updated if anything changes. I appreciate your support of the Poe garden club!

Hello Parents,

I wanted to share news concerning gardening club next semester. This was not an easy decision, but I’ve decided to not hold gardening club next semester due to time constraints and lack of extra help. I will keep you all updated if anything changes but as of right now I will not lead gardening club next semester. I look forward to our last 2 classes this semester.
